Our holiday office party guide covers work. This one is about home — the Christmas gathering that has quietly grown from twelve people to thirty, the neighborhood open house, and the week when the house is full of relatives and nobody wants to cook every night.
1. The family gathering that outgrew one cook
Once a holiday dinner passes twenty people, whoever is hosting spends the whole party in the kitchen. Italian trays fix that: they arrive hot, sit on the counter, and let the host actually sit down.
- Celebration Package — one pasta, one entrée (chicken parmigiana is the crowd favorite), one salad and dessert, with garlic rolls. $235 (10), $350 (15), $580 (25).
- Feeding 30? The 25-person Celebration Package plus a 10-serving pasta tray ($75) — about $655 for the food.
Want the exact number for your event? These are standard package prices. Tell us your headcount, date and delivery address and we’ll send back an exact all-in total — delivery and setup included, no service charge added later.
2. The holiday open house
An open house is grazing, not a sit-down meal — people arrive over three hours and eat a little at a time. Build it from trays: a baked ziti or fettuccine alfredo tray, a big salad, garlic knots ($20+), and something sweet. For dessert, a tiramisu tray ($40+), mini cannolis ($30+) or chocolate chip cookies ($20+) do the work of a dessert table without anyone baking.
3. The week the relatives are in town
Not every night needs catering. For a regular family dinner, our Dinner Done deal — a large 1-topping pizza, 8 Vito’s Bites and fettuccine alfredo for $32.99, feeds 4+, online and pickup only — covers a busy weeknight. Save the trays for the big night.
4. Church, school and neighborhood Christmas events
Christmas programs, choir dinners and HOA parties for 50 to 500+ get custom quotes — tray lines or individually boxed meals, one invoice. See our church event catering guide and the cost guide for 50, 100 and 200 people.
The vegan cousin and the gluten-free aunt
Every big family has both. Add a tray from our vegan menu — Vegan Baked Ziti or Vegan Sausage & Peppers Pasta — so the plant-based guests get dinner, not a side dish. We also have a gluten-free crust; mention celiac disease or severe allergies when you order, since our kitchen is not allergen-free.
When to order
- Gatherings of 10–25 — a few days ahead is usually fine; the closer to Christmas, the earlier you should call.
- 50+ guests — 3–5 days’ notice, more in December when holiday parties fill the calendar.
- The days right before Christmas — holiday hours and order cutoffs can change, so call to confirm before you plan around a pickup time.
